Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikael Eriksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bertus Eppinga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eriksson comes to the cage accompanied by Bartholomew - The Silent Comedy. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eppinga gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Eriksson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Eriksson drops back looking for a leg! Eppinga is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Eppinga manages to kick Eriksson off! Eriksson jumps back into Eppinga's guard.

Eppinga is looking for a triangle but Eriksson pushes his legs off easily.

Eriksson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Eriksson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Eppinga is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
