The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adbo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Antunes.
Adbo throws a series of punches but Antunes avoids them all with ease.
Antunes tries to clinch but Adbo moves out of range.
Antunes staying out of range there.
Antunes with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Adbo to score with a decent uppercut.
Antunes fails with an attempt to clinch.
Adbo's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Adbo duly obliges.
Antunes walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Adbo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Antunes has hold of one of Adbo's legs. Adbo is fighting the takedown attempt but Antunes gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Adbo is looking to stand up but Antunes isn't so interested in that idea.

Antunes sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Adbo's guard.
Antunes seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Adbo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Adbo is trying to stand up here but Antunes is controlling him well.

Antunes is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Adbo is just riding it out for now. Antunes eventually gives up the hold.
