Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Serg Ramirez!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearse is looking to clinch but Ramirez is avoiding it.
Pearse dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ramirez throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Pearse closes the distance and clinches.
A nice left hand lands by Pearse.
Pearse misses with a hook to the ribs.
Ramirez is trying to push Pearse away but Pearse has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Pearse scores with a shoulder strike.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Ramirez.
A frustrated look appears on Ramirez's face as he tries to break the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pearse keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ramirez's efforts to push away.
Ramirez is trying to break the clinch but Pearse has him pressed against the cage.
Ramirez tries to circle away but Pearse has him pinned against the cage.

Ramirez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ramirez throws a half hearted mid kick.
Pearse dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ramirez. That did some damage!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ramirez tries to keep at a distance but Pearse has taken the fight into the clinch.
Pearse doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Ramirez's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Ramirez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Sloppy strikes from Pearse. Those never looked like landing.
Ramirez swats away the attempt to clinch by Pearse.

Ramirez has had enough of the clinch but Pearse keeps him there for the moment.

Come on Pearse - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Pearse tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Ramirez's elbow.

Pearse keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ramirez's efforts to push away.

Ramirez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Pearse lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Pearse missing with knees to the body.
Pearse swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Pearse lands a shot to the body.
Pearse presses Ramirez against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Pearse throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Ramirez wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Pearse cracks Ramirez with a nice body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Ramirez in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
Pearse keeps control of Ramirez as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Pearse doesn't manage to clinch there - Ramirez circles away.
Pearse moves in looking to clinch but Ramirez pushes him off.
Pearse looks to land a combination but Ramirez avoids it well.
Pearse plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Ramirez to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Ramirez just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Adamh Pearse!
