Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Glenn Stroud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dr Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stroud comes to the cage accompanied by Septic Flesh - Pyramid God. Dr Bob is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Glenn Stroud! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dr Bob! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stroud tries to clinch there but Bob circles away.
Bob gets tackled into the cage by Stroud. Stroud maintains the clinch. Bob has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Stroud after a bit of a struggle. Bob tries to score a body lock takedown but Stroud shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Stroud has picked Bob up - he's going for a ride! Stroud dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Stroud wants to get back to his feet.
Bob tries to get to full guard but Stroud has control of the leg. Bob missing with punches from the bottom.
Bob is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stroud pulls his head out easily. Bob looking for submissions off his back. Bob looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stroud trying to control the action but Bob is working from the bottom. Stroud seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Bob is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stroud pulls his head out easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bob gets back to full guard.
Stroud would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Bob has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stroud can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Stroud trying to control the position from guard on top but Bob is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stroud drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Stroud jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Stroud trying to control the position from guard on top but Bob is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Stroud knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bob on the ground. Bob throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Stroud is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Bob tries to land a sweep but no joy. Bob keeping moving, preventing Stroud from controlling successfully. Stroud postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. This has been an exciting period of action! Stroud is looking to stand up but Bob won't let him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stroud is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Stroud wants to control from the top but Bob keeps moving. Stroud would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Bob will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Bob striking off his back but it's not causing Stroud any problems. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stroud accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Bob looking to control.
Stroud has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Bob working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stroud doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stroud manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Stroud will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bob will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stroud in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Bob has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stroud can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Bob looking for a triangle here. Stroud is fighting it but it looks tight! Bob pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Stroud is tapping out - this one is all over!
