Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Howe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Bent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Bent has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kyle Howe's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kyle Howe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Bent! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Howe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bent swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bent throws a push kick but Howe slaps the foot to one side. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Howe takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Bent tries to bum rush Howe with a series of wild strikes but Howe uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Howe feints a jab promting Bent to slip. Howe then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Bent slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Jason Bent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bent connects with a high kick. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Howe tries to clinch there but Bent circles away.
Bent lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Howe is rocked! Bent misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bent gets in close and instigates a clinch. Bent has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Bent wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bent takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Bent looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Bent throws an elbow that misses.
Howe stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Howe lands a knee to the body.
Howe has Bent pressed against the cage, preventing Bent from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Howe keeps control of Bent as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Bent's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Howe slips a jab and a cross from Bent.
Howe fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bent tries a low kick but Howe avoids it. Sloppy strikes from Bent. Those never looked like landing. Bent swinging wildly here.
Bent stalks Howe and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Howe's face. Howe staggers backwards, shaken. Howe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bent swats him away and circles back towards the center. Howe rushes Bent and presses him up against the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bent breaks the clinch.
Bent tries to clinch up but Howe circles away and keeps his distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bent circles away from the clinch attempt and Bent counters with a crisp right hand that drops Howe! Bent lets Howe back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Oh Howe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Bent looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Howe avoids a punch combination nicely.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Bent moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Howe! Bent continues to tee off on Howe, landing with a left and a right! Bent connects with a right hand that leaves Howe sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Bent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jason Bent!
