Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Juanito Cottenfifther!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brian Sheffield!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cottenfifther tries to land a leg kick but Sheffield saw it coming and moves away.
Cottenfifther throws a shot to the body.
Sheffield tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Cottenfifther uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Sheffield.
Cottenfifther throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Sheffield gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Cottenfifther is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Cottenfifther trying to control the position from guard on top but Sheffield is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sheffield working a defensive guard here.
Sheffield has momentary wrist control but Cottenfifther slips an elbow through the middle.
Cottenfifther might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Sheffield is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sheffield will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Cottenfifther works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Cottenfifther wants to take a breather but Sheffield is having none of it.
Cottenfifther frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Cottenfifther takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Sheffield really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cottenfifther. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cottenfifther fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Cottenfifther breaks from Sheffield's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Cottenfifther landing strikes from the mount and Sheffield is in trouble!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cottenfifther throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Sheffield has his hands clasped together but Cottenfifther breaks the hold and Sheffield is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Cottenfifther!
