Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Nukem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Boyko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Chris Nukem has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chris Nukem!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yuri Boyko!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boyko fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Nukem tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Boyko changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nukem looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Boyko scoring with punches and elbows.
Boyko wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nukem, who protects the arm well.
Boyko wants to control but Nukem is keeping him busy.
Nukem wants to get back to his feet.
Boyko has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Boyko decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boyko clinches.
Nukem fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Nukem tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Boyko smiles and moves away.
Nukem swinging wildly here.
Boyko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nukem tries to avoid it but Boyko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nukem to the ground. Nukem escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Boyko closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Boyko gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Nukem.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Nukem. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boyko pulls Nukem into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nukem postures up.
Boyko has control of Nukem's left arm, preventing Nukem from doing any damage.
Nukem prevents Boyko from getting back to his feet.
Boyko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nukem gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Boyko not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Boyko avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nukem stands and throws Boyko's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nukem looks up at the clock and then as Boyko takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Nukem smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nukem wants to stand but Boyko is controlling his arm.
Boyko struggling a bit here.
Nukem wants to stand but Boyko has his arm trapped.
Nukem working away.
Boyko sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Boyko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Boyko tries to kick Nukem off in order to stand up. Nukem Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Boyko explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Boyko looks gassed!
Nukem throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Boyko is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Boyko avoids the head kick by Nukem.
Boyko tries to clinch up.
Boyko shoots in for a takedown but Nukem shows good takedown defense.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nukem lands a left and a right that send Boyko crashing to the mat, dazed. Nukem thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Boyko is rocked!
Boyko avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Boyko is still on wobbly legs! Can Nukem finish him?
Nukem lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Boyko up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Nukem from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Boyko's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chris Nukem!
