Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dick Head! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masaru Yuudai! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yuudai fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Head has closed the distance and engaged Yuudai in a clinch.
Head manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Head not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Head keeping full guard, as Yuudai tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Head is trying to keep Yuudai in close.
Head knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yuudai on the ground. Head throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Yuudai trying to control the position from guard on top but Head is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Yuudai tries to free his leg and advance position but Head is retaining full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Head clinches up against the cage. Yuudai fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Head has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Yuudai regains guard immediately. Yuudai is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Head trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Head controlling from the top position. Head wants to control from the top but Yuudai keeps moving. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Head scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Yuudai looks gassed! Head prevents Yuudai from improving his position. Yuudai is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yuudai wants to control but Head is keeping busy.
Head seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Head wants to free his trapped foot but Yuudai is holding on for dear life with his legs. Yuudai manages to get to full guard.

Yuudai is looking for a triangle but Head pushes his legs off easily.

I think Head should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Yuudai has tightened it up now! Head should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
