Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rocky Balboa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harry The Hatchett! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The Hatchett misses with a takedown attempt and Balboa counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. The Hatchett wants to get back to his feet. The Hatchett is staying active underneath Balboa, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The Hatchett tries to kick Balboa off but Balboa keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The Hatchett tries to get to full guard but Balboa has control of the leg. Balboa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for The Hatchett on the ground. The Hatchett wants to control but Balboa is keeping busy.

That's one minute gone in the round. Balboa wants to lay and pray for a moment but The Hatchett keeps working. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. The Hatchett is looking for a sweep. Balboa is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. The Hatchett shoots in for a takedown but Balboa shows good takedown defense. The Hatchett fails with the takedown and Balboa counters by clinching up. Rocky Balboa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry The Hatchett. The Hatchett is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Balboa gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. The Hatchett looks gassed! Balboa is pressed up against the ropes. The Hatchett has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Balboa down to the mat. Balboa avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. The Hatchett tries for a takedown but Balboa circles away easily and Balboa counters with a head kick. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The Hatchett is breathing heavily. Balboa won't allow The Hatchett to sweep him here.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Rocky Balboa just wasn't active enough. Balboa closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. The Hatchett quickly recovers to half guard. The Hatchett is trying to stand.
Balboa is nestled in close to The Hatchett, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Balboa slips a nice elbow through The Hatchett's hands, connecting with The Hatchett's forehead. Balboa wants to lay and pray for a moment but The Hatchett keeps working. The Hatchett wants to get back to full guard.

The Hatchett misses with a takedown attempt and Balboa counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The Hatchett is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Balboa slips out almost immediately though and dives into The Hatchett's guard. The Hatchett throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Balboa won't allow The Hatchett to sweep him here. Rocky Balboa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The Hatchett is edging up against the ropes. He's using the ropes to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

And that's the end of the fight! Harry The Hatchett comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Balboa has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
