The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kavomivolodos throws a body punch but Ivanov moves out of range.
Kavomivolodos misses with a takedown attempt - Ivanov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Kavomivolodos gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Ivanov counters with a single leg into guard. Kavomivolodos didn't expect that.
Ivanov stays in close to Kavomivolodos's body and controls the position.
Ivanov won't allow Kavomivolodos to sweep him here.
Kavomivolodos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
