Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Scissors (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiroko Matsumato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scissors comes to the cage accompanied by Paper Cut - Linkin Park. Matsumato is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by My Pre Fight Warmup. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Matsumato.
Scissors throws a series of punches but Matsumato avoids them all with ease.
Scissors gets caught flat footed, as Matsumato shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Scissors looking to hit a scissor sweep but Matsumato is one step ahead there.

Matsumato is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Scissors defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Matsumato fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Scissors avoids it really well and circles away.

Scissors displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Matsumato.

Scissors throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Matsumato blocks it with crossed arms.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Scissors tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Matsumato manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Scissors closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Matsumato scores with the left hand. Scissors knows he should have avoided that one.
Scissors throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
