Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Michael Kimmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Sadorra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kimmo comes to the cage accompanied by Roni Size-Bite The Bullet. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Kimmo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Daniel Sadorra! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kimmo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sadorra circles away quickly and effectively. Sadorra tries to clinch there but Kimmo circles away.
Kimmo lands a head shot.
It looks like Daniel Sadorra has been cut. Kimmo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sadorra, pushing him back against the cage. Sadorra managing to block the knees to the body from Kimmo.
Sadorra wants a takedown but no success here.

Sadorra jumps guard and drags Kimmo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Kimmo gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Kimmo misses with a jab, cross combination.
That kick from Kimmo tenderised Sadorra's leg. Sadorra is trying to keep his angry face on. Sadorra has a takedown stuffed. Michael Kimmo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Sadorra. Kimmo gets in close and instigates a clinch. Nice elbow from Kimmo. Sadorra has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kimmo wants to control from the top but Sadorra keeps moving. Kimmo content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kimmo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sadorra has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kimmo has managed to get both his arms back between Sadorra's legs - danger averted.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kimmo stands up and beckons Sadorra to join him on the feet. Sadorra misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kimmo.
Kimmo moves into range and clinches up with Sadorra. Sadorra is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kimmo takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Sadorra tries to pull guard but Kimmo won't allow it.
Kimmo lands a nice elbow. Sadorra has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kimmo regains guard immediately. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kimmo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sadorra manages to get himself to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kimmo gets to his feet. Sadorra looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kimmo clinches with his opponent.

That has opened up Daniel Sadorra's cut even more. Sadorra tries to work over Kimmo's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Kimmo scores a nice knee to the body.
Kimmo with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Kimmo as Sadorra tries to tie him up. Kimmo prevents Sadorra from breaking the clinch. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kimmo connects with a nasty looking knee right to Sadorra's face.

Michael Kimmo dominated that round. The cut man is working on Daniel Sadorra's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Sadorra tries to score a body lock takedown but Kimmo shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Kimmo throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Sadorra blocks it with crossed arms. Kimmo lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Michael Kimmo has scored more points in the clinch so far. Sadorra tries for a takedown. No joy.
Kimmo lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Sadorra looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Kimmo trying to land knees to the body.

That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Sadorra. Sadorra closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Sadorra tries to advance position but instead Kimmo slips a leg back in to half guard. Kimmo tries to roll over but Sadorra keeps him under control. Kimmo is working hard here to advance position.

Sadorra postures up in Kimmo's guard and throws a big left but Kimmo blocks it. Kimmo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sadorra trying to move into half guard but instead Kimmo has managed to sweep! Kimmo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sadorra keeping moving, preventing Kimmo from controlling successfully. Sadorra looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kimmo is one step ahead there.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Sadorra is on top in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sadorra accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sadorra missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
