Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Walton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny Tanner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Walton!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Walton has managed to clinch.
Walton tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Tanner avoiding damage.
Tanner prevents a body shot from Walton.
Walton lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Walton tries to land knees in the clinch but Tanner avoids the damage to the body.
Walton misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Tanner.
Walton misses with a punch to the body.
Tanner blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Tanner lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Tanner prevents a body shot from Walton.
Tanner lands a left hand that snaps the head of Walton backwards.
Tanner avoiding damage as Walton throws knees to the body.
Walton goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Walton letting Tanner take a breather here.
Tanner blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Tanner is looking to break free of the clinch but Walton has double underhooks.
Walton tries a knee to the head but Tanner blocks it.

Tanner has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Walton is trying to keep an underhook but Tanner manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Walton wants to control but Tanner is keeping busy.
Tanner takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Still in half guard, Tanner seems content to control.
Walton has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tanner is working away from the top position though.
Walton regains full guard. Nicely done.
Tanner sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Tanner with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Walton looking for a sweep. Not yet Walton, not yet.
Walton keeping moving, preventing Tanner from controlling successfully.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tanner scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Walton wants to control but Tanner passes easily into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Walton is looking to improve his position.
Tanner throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Walton wants to control but Tanner is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Tanner is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Walton trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Walton can do anything to dispel that myth.
Tanner lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Tanner controlling the pace for now.
Tanner wants to control the pace but Walton is squirming around nicely.

Tanner lands a big elbow.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tanner lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Tanner sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Walton tries to reverse the position but Tanner maintains control.
Tanner lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Walton hang on?
Walton wants to control but Tanner is having none of it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Walton working to try and regain half guard.
Tanner lands a big shot there that rocks Walton but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Danny Tanner dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Walton misses with a series of wild punches.
Tanner fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Walton looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Walton tries to work over Tanner's front leg with a kick but Tanner checks it.
Walton misses with an uppercut.

Walton gets caught flat footed, as Tanner shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Tanner trying to control the position from guard on top but Walton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Walton is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tanner content to stall in guard here.
Walton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tanner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Walton wants to sweep here but Tanner controlling him for the moment.

Tanner working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Walton looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Tanner puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Walton on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Walton trying to control but Tanner postures up.
Tanner takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Tanner wants to control but Walton is keeping him busy.

Tanner's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

We're going to have a standup here because Danny Tanner wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Walton leaves Tanner with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Walton throws a body punch but Tanner moves out of range.
Tanner throws a body punch but Walton moves out of range.
Walton stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Walton wants it to stay on the feet.
Walton tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Tanner counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Walton!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Walton working to try and regain half guard.
Walton tries to lock up and control but Tanner gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Walton might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tanner kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tanner looking to control and managing it successfully.
Tanner fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Tanner can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Walton is looking to escape.
Walton keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
BOOM! Tanner connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Walton tries to lock up and control but Tanner gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tanner in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Tanner scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Walton wants to control but Tanner is having none of it.
Tanner with the ground and pound from mount.
Tanner with shots to the head and body - Walton looks very uncomfortable down there.
Tanner lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.


Walton is rocked!
Tanner cracks Walton with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Walton is still in real trouble! Can Tanner finish him?
Tanner loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Walton scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Tanner land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Tanner stands and salutes the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Danny Tanner!
