Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sean Rellik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donald Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stewart has chosen Celly cel - Its Goin Down Tonight as his entrance music. Donald Stewart has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sean Rellik!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Donald Stewart!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Chad Campbell and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stewart stuffs the takedown attempt from Rellik. Rellik gets slowly back to his feet.
Rellik fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Some wild striking there from Rellik.

Stewart changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rellik looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Stewart wants to control but Rellik is keeping him busy.
Rellik is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Stewart throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Rellik works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Stewart landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Stewart is trying to control the action in half guard but Rellik is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Rellik tries to roll over but Stewart keeps him under control.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Stewart lands a nice short elbow.

Stewart sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Rellik defending well though.
Rellik keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Rellik has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Stewart is working away from the top position though.
Stewart is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Rellik is trying to get back to full guard.

Rellik won't allow Stewart to pass to mount.

Stewart is looking to stall here but Rellik recovers full guard.
Stewart postures up in Rellik's guard and throws a big left but Rellik blocks it.
Rellik avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Rellik can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Stewart controls the pace.

Rellik misses with a takedown attempt - Stewart sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Rellik uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stewart.

Rellik shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stewart sprawls well. Stewart wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rellik gets slowly back to his feet.
Rellik uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Stewart.
Rellik moves in looking to clinch but Stewart pushes him off.
Stewart throws the left hand but Rellik avoids the punch easily.

Rellik tries to sprawl but Stewart drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Rellik regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Stewart.
Rellik wants to sweep here but Stewart controlling him for the moment.

Stewart engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Stewart is working Rellik over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rellik looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stewart is one step ahead there.
Stewart stays in close to Rellik's body and controls the position.

Stewart looking to sit in guard and control but Rellik gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Rellik chips away with some ground and pound.
Rellik trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Stewart is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Rellik in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Donald Stewart has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Stewart avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

A jab from Rellik misses.
Stewart lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
A looping hook to the body misses from Stewart. Rellik does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rellik tries to clinch but Stewart is having none of it.
Rellik tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stewart swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean Rellik. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stewart throws a good cross that connects.
Rellik shoots in but no luck this time.
Stewart looks to score with a jab to the body but Rellik is just out of range.
Rellik thows a body shot but no joy.
Rellik takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Stewart tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rellik was well out of range. Poor timing from Stewart.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Rellik throws a right and a left that both miss.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rellik keeping moving, preventing Stewart from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Donald Stewart showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Rellik moves in looking to clinch but Stewart pushes him off.
Stewart misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rellik.
Rellik throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Stewart connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Stewart keeps the fight on the outside.
Rellik fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stewart avoids it really well and circles away.
Rellik keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Rellik clinches up against the cage.
Rellik stops a takedown attempt from Stewart.
Stewart tries for a takedown. No joy.
Rellik tries to land knees in the clinch but Stewart avoids the damage to the body.

Rellik creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Rellik is pressed up against the cage. Stewart has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rellik down to the mat. Rellik avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Sean Rellik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Donald Stewart.
Stewart throws a hook but Rellik avoids it easily.
Stewart throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rellik bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Rellik shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Stewart sprawls well. Stewart wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rellik gets slowly back to his feet.
Rellik throws a hook to the side of Stewart's head but Stewart sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Rellik misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rellik fails with a takedown attempt.

Sean Rellik has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Rellik avoids the body shot from Stewart.
A big left from Stewart misses.
Rellik throws a leg kick that misses.
Stewart avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Stewart swings for the body but Rellik moves out of range.
Rellik is looking to clinch but Stewart is avoiding it.
Rellik shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Stewart counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rellik won't be happy with that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stewart cracks Rellik with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Stewart tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Stewart is trying to ground and pound but Rellik uses the momentary lack of control by Stewart to regain half guard.
Rellik is not content to let Stewart control the position.

Stewart winds up and cracks Rellik with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Stewart moves into full mount! Rellik won't be happy about that!

Stewart looking to finish Rellik with some ground and pound. This is bad for Rellik!
Donald Stewart is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Stewart tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that's the end of the fight!
Donald Stewart comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Stewart winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
