Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wrestling Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wrestling Bot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dan Morgan! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Winston Howard and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bot decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Morgan has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Bot escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Bot! Morgan looks to move to half guard but instead Bot has passed into mount! Damn! Morgan gets back to half guard. Bot will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Morgan wants to get back to his feet. Bot trying to control the action but Morgan is working from the bottom. Bot stands up and beckons Morgan to join him on the feet. Morgan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bot stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bot wants it to stay on the feet. Bot drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Bot has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Morgan working for a triangle but Bot defends it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan looking for subs off his back but Bot has passed one foot through into half guard.
Bot is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Still in half guard, Bot seems content to control. Morgan trying to hold on to Bot's head to control him but Bot postures up.
Morgan moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bot controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Morgan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bot defends it easily. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Morgan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Morgan controls Bot momentarily but Bot frees himself. Bot is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Morgan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bot defends well. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Morgan working a defensive guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morgan looking for a guillotine here but Bot defends easily.
Bot gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Morgan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bot paws at him with a jab and circles away. Morgan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bot but Bot pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bot drives through with a takedown into Morgan's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Morgan is looking for a triangle but Bot pushes his legs off easily.
Bot trying to control the position from guard on top but Morgan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Morgan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bot stands and steps away. Morgan gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Morgan works Bot's body with a nice hook. Morgan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bot paws at him with a jab and circles away. Dan Morgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Morgan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bot defends it nicely. Wrestling Bot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Morgan. Bot closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bot lands in his opponent's guard. Morgan looks gassed! Bot scoring with punches to the head and body. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bot trying to control the position from guard on top but Morgan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bot lands a couple of elbows. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wrestling Bot dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bot closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Morgan did well to prevent Bot getting side control. Morgan wants to control but Bot is keeping busy.
Morgan actively working from the bottom here. Bot is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Morgan is just riding it out for now. Bot eventually gives up the hold. Morgan actively working from the bottom here. Morgan looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Wrestling Bot overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bot working over Morgan with some ground and pound. Morgan looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Bot with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morgan actively working from the bottom here. Morgan gets back to full guard.
Bot trying to control the position from guard on top but Morgan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bot decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Morgan shoots in for a takedown but Bot shows good takedown defense. Morgan slips a straight right by Bot. Morgan tries to clinch but Bot moves out of range. Bot swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Morgan tries to clinch but Bot moves out of range. Morgan fails with the takedown and Bot counters with a nice double leg into side control. Morgan won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Morgan manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Bot looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Bot stalling. Morgan wants to control but Bot is keeping busy.
Morgan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Morgan. Bot prevents Morgan from getting back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bot has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Morgan to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Bot is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Morgan pulls down on the head and he's put Bot to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Dan Morgan!
