Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Reijo Rymy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanley Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rymy comes to the cage accompanied by Killswitch Engage - Holy Diver. Ramirez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Take it in Blood -- Nas. Hanley Ramirez is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rymy lands a jab.
Rymy tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Rymy cracks a nice hook into Ramirez's ribs.
Rymy throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sloppy strikes from Rymy. Those never looked like landing.
Rymy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ramirez.
Ramirez misses with a wild body shot.
Rymy sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Ramirez throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Ramirez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rymy throws a hook to the side of Ramirez's head but Ramirez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Ramirez fakes the leg kick and cracks Rymy in the body.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rymy crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Ramirez - the referee stops the clock and Rymy gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Ramirez. Rymy manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Rymy is breathing heavily.
Rymy dives in and scores a takedown into Ramirez's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Ramirez pulls Rymy in close to prevent any damage.
Ramirez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rymy manages to get himself to full guard.
Ramirez chips away with some ground and pound.
Ramirez stands up over Rymy, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Rymy thows a body shot but no joy.
Ramirez bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Rymy misses with an uppercut. Ramirez saw that one coming.
Ramirez turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Rymy throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ramirez counters with a nice body kick.
Rymy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ramirez.
Rymy loads up on a big right hand but Ramirez slips the punch.
Good exchange - Rymy coming out on top.
Ramirez stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Ramirez bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rymy's head backwards.
This has been an exciting period of action!

A decent looking body kick lands there for Ramirez.
Ramirez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rymy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ramirez's waist but Ramirez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rymy off to one side.
Ramirez takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rymy seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Ramirez shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Rymy is backing up but Ramirez catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Rymy covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Ramirez Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hanley Ramirez!
Hanley Ramirez was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
