Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zhujev Valinchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Alonzo Longabaugh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Harry Alonzo Longabaugh was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zhujev Valinchenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harry Alonzo Longabaugh!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longabaugh throws a series of punches but Valinchenko moves out of range.
A right-left combo lands from Longabaugh.


It looks like Zhujev Valinchenko has been cut.
Valinchenko has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Valinchenko clinches.
Longabaugh avoids a wild elbow strike from Valinchenko.
Longabaugh has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Valinchenko has Longabaugh pressed against the cage, preventing Longabaugh from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Valinchenko keeps control of Longabaugh as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Valinchenko tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Valinchenko throws an elbow but misses.

Longabaugh breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Valinchenko tries to clinch up but Longabaugh circles away and keeps his distance.
Valinchenko tries to clinch up.
Longabaugh looks to land a combination. Valinchenko sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Valinchenko scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Valinchenko working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Longabaugh wants to control but Valinchenko postures up.

Valinchenko looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Longabaugh struggling a bit here.
Valinchenko in side control, throwing shots but Longabaugh defends.

Valinchenko has an Americana. Longabaugh didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Valinchenko is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Valinchenko hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Zhujev Valinchenko!
