And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Phol Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piternieks blocks a low kick nicely.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Piternieks.
Crunch! Hunt slams his shin into Piternieks's torso.
Good leg kick by Piternieks there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Hunt takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Piternieks misses with the combination.
Hunt throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Hunt throws a head kick that misses
and Piternieks counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Piternieks misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Piternieks. Hunt does a little dance to reset his feet.
That kick from Piternieks tenderised Hunt's leg. Hunt is trying to keep his angry face on.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Piternieks sizes up Hunt with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Piternieks throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hunt stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hunt tries to clinch
and Piternieks counters with a nice body shot.

Piternieks tries to keep at a distance but Hunt has taken the fight into the clinch.
Hunt swings away with an uppercut that misses.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Piternieks creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Piternieks breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hunt looks to land a body kick but Piternieks moved away.
Piternieks misses the shot to the body.
Hunt takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Piternieks goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Hunt avoids a punch combination nicely.
Piternieks tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hunt was well out of range. Poor timing from Piternieks.
Piternieks lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Piternieks is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Piternieks fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hunt.
Piternieks lunges at Hunt with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hunt's hand.
Piternieks looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Hunt walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Piternieks misses with a wild body shot.
Good work by Hunt as he checks the leg kick.
Piternieks throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hunt stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Piternieks lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Piternieks turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Piternieks is looking to chop away at Hunt's legs.
Piternieks moves out of range of the body kick.
Piternieks fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hunt looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Piternieks scores with a hook to the body. Hunt takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Piternieks connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hunt looks gassed!
Piternieks lands with a nice body punch.
Nice uppercut there from Piternieks.
Piternieks connects with a good right hand that stumbles Hunt. Hunt circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Piternieks moves into range and connects with a jab.
Piternieks throws a push kick but Hunt slaps the foot to one side.
Piternieks tries to score with a low kick but Hunt moves his leg out of the way.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Piternieks ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Piternieks is looking to wear down Hunt with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Hunt stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Piternieks.
A solid leg kick lands there for Piternieks.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hunt's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

and Hunt finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Hunt takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Piternieks scores with a sloppy right hand. Hunt should have avoided that one.

Hunt is rocked!
Piternieks jabs Hunt to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hunt is still on wobbly legs! Can Piternieks finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Piternieks.
A shot to the liver by Piternieks. Beautiful body shot.
Hunt switches off momentarily and Piternieks cracks him with a monster right hand! Hunt topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Piternieks dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Piternieks!
