Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Super Hans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Super Hans could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Nick Diaz's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Super Hans! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Nick Diaz! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hans connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Diaz throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Diaz is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hans's half guard. Diaz thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Hans to regain full guard. Hans wants to sweep here but Diaz controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diaz scoring with punches to the head and body. Diaz postures up.
Hans had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Diaz defends it easily. Hans is trying to control the position but Diaz postures up. Hans working for a triangle but Diaz defends it easily.
Diaz with a nice head shot there. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hans wants to sweep but no luck. Hans has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Diaz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Diaz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hans is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Diaz lands a couple of decent looking shots. Hans had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Diaz defends it easily. Hans looking to hit a scissor sweep but Diaz is one step ahead there. Diaz working some strikes from top position. Hans preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hans utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Hans wants to sweep here but Diaz controlling him for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz lands a couple of digs. Diaz advances position into side control! Diaz scoring with punches from side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Diaz working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Diaz is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hans knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Diaz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hans is looking to regain half guard here but Diaz keeps moving and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Hans wants to control but Diaz postures up. Hans gets back to half guard. Diaz is working for a submission of some sort.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz is thwarting Hans's attempts to control the position. Diaz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hans sees it coming and defends easily. Diaz working Hans over with strikes. Diaz throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Diaz seems to be looking for submissions.
Hans wants to control but Diaz is keeping busy and won't allow it. The fighters are battling for position here. Hans manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Hans trying to keep a closed guard but Diaz is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Hans has his foot on Diaz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Diaz works his way back into a safe position though. Diaz throwing strikes but missing. Hans is trying to keep Diaz in close.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Diaz's corner. There ya go! There ya go! This has been an exciting period of action! Hans looking to hit a scissor sweep but Diaz is one step ahead there. Hans throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Hans is breathing heavily. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hans is on top in guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hans pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Diaz is keeping the position for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nick Diaz dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Diaz throws a nice looking combination but Hans bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A punch combination from Diaz misses. Diaz gets a double leg takedown into Hans's guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Diaz's corner. There ya go! There ya go! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Diaz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Hans is trying to keep Diaz in close.
Diaz won't allow Hans to get back to his feet. Hans working for a triangle but Diaz defends it easily.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Diaz cracks Hans with a solid left hand. Diaz landing with the ground and pound. Hans manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hans blocks Diaz's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Hans jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Diaz manages to avoid the submission attempt. Hans is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Diaz has escaped the position, nice work there. Hans is trying to get an arm triangle but Diaz is defending well. Diaz is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Diaz actively working from the bottom here. Diaz has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Hans. Oh but Diaz has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Hans goes limp - he's gone! Diaz jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
