Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomasz Adamek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dom Fartch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adamek comes to the cage accompanied by KSW. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fartch tries a head kick but it misses.
Fartch will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Fartch shoots in but no luck this time.
Adamek displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fartch.
Adamek throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Fartch's head.

It looks like Dom Fartch has been cut.
Fartch throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Adamek looking to score a takedown here. Fartch is defending well but Adamek drives through and ends up in Fartch's guard.

Fartch had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Adamek defends it easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Adamek avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Adamek would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Fartch wants to stand up but Adamek is controlling him.

Adamek got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fartch has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Adamek has managed to get both his arms back between Fartch's legs - danger averted.
Adamek stands up over Fartch, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Adamek makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Adamek forces his way into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Adamek is thwarting Fartch's attempts to control the position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fartch wants to improve his position but Adamek is controlling well.

Adamek tries to pass the half guard into mount. Fartch knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Adamek has closed the distance and engaged Fartch in a clinch.

Adamek's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tomasz Adamek seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fartch pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Adamek back to the cage. Fartch follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Adamek closes the distance and clinches.
Adamek is working for takedown but Fartch is calmly controlling the position for now.
Adamek presses Fartch against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Fartch can't get the takedown.
Tomasz Adamek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dom Fartch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fartch tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Adamek smiles and moves away.
Fartch walks forward, straight into a front kick from Adamek.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nice takedown defense from Fartch. No joy for Adamek on that attempt.
Fartch doesn't manage to clinch there - Adamek circles away.
Fartch tries to score a power double leg takedown but Adamek sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fartch somewhat.
Fartch misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Adamek shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Adamek showed some decent athleticism there.

Fartch is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Adamek has latched onto it... Big trouble! Adamek pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Fartch is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Adamek!
