Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ted Danielson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Muna Karvaton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karvaton has chosen Kvelertak as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ted Danielson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Muna Karvaton! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good standup being displayed there by Karvaton as he connects with a hook. Danielson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
A big right from Karvaton misses. Danielson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Karvaton walks into a straight right hand from Danielson. Danielson moves out of range as Karvaton strikes. Karvaton misses with a lunging right hand
and Danielson counters with a straight right hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Karvaton waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Danielson. Danielson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Karvaton throws a nice looking combination but Danielson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A left lands for Danielson. Danielson slips a jab from Karvaton. Karvaton swings widly with a right hand
and Danielson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Danielson throws a series of punches but Karvaton moves out of range. Karvaton is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Danielson. Karvaton throws a hook to the side of Danielson's head but Danielson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Muna Karvaton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Karvaton throws a hook to the side of Danielson's head but Danielson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Danielson drives through and clinches with Karvaton against the cage.
Danielson has Karvaton pressed against the cage, preventing Karvaton from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Danielson is working Karvaton over against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Danielson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Karvaton can't fight it off and eventually Danielson manages to take the fight to the floor. Karvaton looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Danielson stands up from Karvaton's guard - Danielson perhaps looking for a knockout. Danielson tries to bum rush Karvaton with a series of wild strikes but Karvaton uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Danielson closes the distance and clinches. Danielson scores with a nice hook to the head. Danielson keeps control of Karvaton as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Karvaton tries to break the clinch but Danielson is controlling the position. Danielson lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Karvaton.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Danielson stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Karvaton looks gassed! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Danielson lands a body shot. Danielson lands with a left to the head. Danielson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Karvaton's efforts to push away. Danielson scores with a nice hook to the head. Danielson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Karvaton backwards. Karvaton tries to circle away but Danielson has him pinned against the cage. A hook to the body from Danielson.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Danielson. Danielson pushes Karvaton back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Danielson working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. A nice left hand lands by Danielson.
Come on Danielson - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Karvaton's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Danielson floors Karvaton with a big punch on the inside! Karvaton is trying to recover but Danielson dives into side control.
Karvaton is rocked! Karvaton is letting Danielson control him for a moment. Karvaton is still in real trouble! Can Danielson finish him? Danielson stands up and we're back to a striking position. Danielson moves into the clinch. Karvaton seems to have recovered his senses. Danielson lands a left hand.
Danielson is working Karvaton over against the cage. Danielson lands with a short shot to the head. Danielson pushes Karvaton against the cage and as Karvatonbounces back, Danielson cracks him with a massive overhand right that sends him crashing to the mat! Danielson follows up with more strikes but Karvaton was out from that first, devastating punch! Wow!
