Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Herb Hurt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). dos Santos has chosen Daft Punk - Harder Better Faster Stronger as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dos Santos scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Hurt is desperately trying to improve his position but dos Santos has a good base and remains in mount.
dos Santos takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

dos Santos wants to finish this one by submission but Hurt is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from dos Santos.

dos Santos won't let Hurt get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Hurt sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
dos Santos is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hurt defends it well.
dos Santos is trying to control the action in half guard but Hurt is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

dos Santos is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hurt is just riding it out for now. dos Santos eventually gives up the hold.

dos Santos works his foot free and advances to mount.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

dos Santos is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Hurt is surviving well by controlling dos Santos's body position as best he can.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hurt tries to hold on but dos Santos pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Hurt defends well against a solid takedown attempt from dos Santos.
dos Santos has Hurt up against the cage in a clinch.
dos Santos keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hurt's efforts to push away.
dos Santos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hurt walks into a straight right hand from dos Santos.
dos Santos is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
dos Santos lands a glancing blow to the side of Hurt's head.
dos Santos closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

dos Santos really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Hurt.
dos Santos is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Hurt knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Hurt for a finish.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
dos Santos is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Hurt with him. Hurt is trying to defend but dos Santos has an arm under the chin now! Hurt grimaces and is forced to tap out!
