Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Tabera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Msciwoj Nojman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nojman has chosen Imindain - Black Water as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Daniel Tabera could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Msciwoj Nojman's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daniel Tabera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Msciwoj Nojman!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nojman is looking to clinch but Tabera is avoiding it.
Nojman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tabera defends it nicely.
Tabera fails with a takedown attempt.
Nojman works the jab nicely.
Tabera shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Tabera takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Tabera stuffs the takedown.
Nojman tries to close the distance and clinch but Tabera swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Tabera looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nojman is fending him off so far but Tabera persists. Nope, Nojman circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Tabera. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nojman looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Tabera fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Tabera fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nojman avoids it really well and circles away.
Tabera shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Tabera is breathing heavily.

and Nojman counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Tabera is lucky that one didn't land flush.
No luck for Nojman with that takedown attempt.

Nojman closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Tabera did well to prevent Nojman getting side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Nojman stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Tabera to get to his feet.
Nojman throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Tabera tries to sprawl but Nojman drives through with a takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nojman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Nojman trying to control the action but Tabera is working from the bottom.

Tabera kicks Nojman off and gets back to his feet.
Tabera misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nojman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tabera swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Tabera shoots in for a takedown but Nojman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Nojman tries to clinch there but Tabera circles away.

Nojman has Tabera up against the cage in a clinch.
Tabera is working for takedown but Nojman is calmly controlling the position for now.
The referee calls for Nojman to work.
Nojman prevents a takedown attempt there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Nojman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tabera looks for a takedown but Nojman sprawls well.

Nojman drives through and clinches with Tabera against the cage.
Nojman digs a right hand underneath Tabera's ribcage. Tabera let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Nojman gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Tabera.

Nojman decides to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tabera would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tabera postures up.
Tabera trying to stand up but can't free himself from Nojman's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Nojman throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Nojman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tabera can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Tabera tries to free his leg and advance position but Nojman is retaining full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tabera is working hard here to advance position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Msciwoj Nojman dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Nojman tries to clinch up.
Tabera dives in and grabs Nojman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nojman pushes down on Tabera's head and hops out.

Nojman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tabera swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Tabera throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Nojman tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tabera is in Nojman's guard.
Tabera working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Nojman seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tabera drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Nojman dives on top into guard.
Nojman stops Tabera from standing up.

Nojman stands up from Tabera's guard - Nojman perhaps looking for a knockout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Nojman moves into the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Nojman can't get the takedown.
Nojman is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Tabera pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Tabera tries to score a body lock takedown but Nojman shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Tabera. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nojman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tabera has his takedown stuffed

and Nojman counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tabera won't be happy with that.
Nojman scores with punches from side control.
Tabera is pushing Nojman's head away, looking to escape. Nojman manages to hold on to the position though.

Nojman stands up and beckons Tabera to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nojman leaves Tabera with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Nojman feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Tabera looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nojman is fending him off so far but Tabera persists. Nope, Nojman circles away and we're back to standing.

Nojman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Tabera not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Tabera is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Tabera is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Nojman is pressed up against the cage. Tabera has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Nojman down to the mat. Nojman avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Nojman moves into the clinch successfully.

Nojman manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Tabera stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Nojman tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Msciwoj Nojman seems to be getting the better of the standup.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Nojman enables Tabera to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nojman manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nojman looking for a sweep. Not yet Nojman, not yet.

Tabera drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Tabera as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Nojman screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Tabera! Nice submission victory there!
