The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bowman looks to land a combination but Taheri avoids it well.

Taheri with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bowman to score with a decent uppercut.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Taheri crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bowman - the referee stops the clock and Taheri gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bowman. Taheri manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Bowman closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Taheri! Bowman dives in looking to finish! Taheri is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
