Benito feints a jab promting Johnson to slip. Benito then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Johnson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Benito scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Johnson throws a low kick, looking for Benito's leg but Benito calmly moves out of range.

Benito fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Johnson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Benito bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Benito looks to land a combination but Johnson avoids it well.
Benito ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Johnson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Johnson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Benito stuns Johnson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Benito throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Benito clobbers Johnson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Johnson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Benito throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Benito catches Johnson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

No joy there for Benito, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Johnson doesn't manage to clinch there - Benito circles away.
Benito lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Benito is working the combinations to good effect here.
Benito lands a left and a right that send Johnson crashing to the mat, dazed. Benito thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Amorsolo Benito seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Benito dances in with a quick combination. Johnson is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Benito snaps Johnson's head back. Johnson stumbles backwards against the cage. Benito steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Johnson's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Johnson just didn't come prepared.
