Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Snow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wirm Kness! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kness shoots in but Snow avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kness shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Kness is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Snow is trying to control but can't.
Snow pushes Kness off looking to stand but Kness dives back in and keeps control.
Kness postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Snow to stand up. Kness shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Snow but Snow pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kness with a lazy takedown attempt and Snow counters with a nice uppercut. John Snow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wirm Kness. Snow will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kness takes one on the button. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kness shoots in for a takedown but Snow shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. A punch combination from Snow misses. Kness slips a jab and a cross from Snow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kness misses with a takedown attempt and Snow counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kness misses with a few strikes there.
Kness shoots and misses and Snow counters with a left to the body. Kness looks gassed! Snow throws a nice looking combination but Kness bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Kness takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Snow moves into range and connects with a jab. Snow misses with a jab, cross combination.
Snow looks to land a combination. Kness sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Kness is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Snow fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kness is still on wobbly legs! Can Snow finish him? Snow looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kness seems to have recovered his senses. Snow lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kness at a distance.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Snow is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kness. Kness showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Snow.
John Snow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kness shoots in and gets a takedown into Snow's guard. Snow manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kness manages to get himself to full guard.

Snow fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kness manages to avoid it. Snow rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kness moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Kness has his takedown stuffed and Snow counters with a left to the body. Snow scores with a body shot.

Snow throws a right hand that Kness ducks under and follows up with a left that Kness also avoids with ease. Snow fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kness manages to avoid it. Snow scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Snow displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kness. Snow throws a body punch but Kness moves out of range. Kness slips a jab from Snow. Kness tries to clinch up. Kness manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Snow on his heels. He'll look to pass Snow's guard now, I'm sure. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kness preventing the sweep. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kness drops back, looking for a kneebar! Snow looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Snow looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Snow! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Snow dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Snow throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kness shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Snow as he jumps to the side. Snow's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Snow duly obliges. Snow is looking to wear down Kness with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Snow misses with a two punch combination.
No luck for Kness with that takedown attempt. Nice sprawl there from Snow as Kness shoots in. John Snow has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Nice sprawl there from Snow as Kness shoots in. Kness fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kness misses with a takedown letting Snow counter with a right hand. Kness on the wrong end of a nice jab. Snow misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kness avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kness is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Snow moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Snow! An out of breath John Snow thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
