Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ray Benn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ray Benn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeff Roberts! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benn tries to keep at a distance but Roberts has taken the fight into the clinch. Roberts manages to break the clinch.
Roberts's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Benn connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Roberts scrambles back to his feet. Roberts drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Benn manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Roberts is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Benn is trying to control the action in half guard but Roberts is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Roberts is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Benn's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Benn's back! Roberts is trying to stick to Benn's back but Benn is turning into Roberts. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Roberts's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Benn. Benn prevents Roberts from getting back to his feet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Benn stopping the sweep attempt from Roberts. Benn trying to control the position from guard on top but Roberts is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Roberts keeping moving, preventing Benn from controlling successfully. Roberts looking to hit a scissor sweep but Benn is one step ahead there.
We're going to have a standup here because Ray Benn wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Benn throws a right hand that Roberts ducks under and follows up with a left that Roberts also avoids with ease.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The fight stays on the outside here - Benn looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Benn changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Roberts looks gassed! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Roberts is defended easily by Benn. Benn throws a nice looking combination but Roberts bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Benn punishes Roberts's body with a nice straight punch. Benn moves into range and connects with a jab. Roberts takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Good exchange - Benn coming out on top. Ray Benn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Roberts has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Benn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

No joy there for Benn, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Roberts avoids a punch combination nicely.
Benn tries to close the distance and clinch but Roberts swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Benn throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Roberts counters with a single leg into guard. Benn didn't expect that. Benn is looking for a triangle but Roberts pushes his legs off easily.
Benn is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roberts thows a big elbow that misses. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Roberts's corner is telling him to maintain position. Benn might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Roberts pushing down on Benn's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Benn tries to get to full guard but Roberts has control of the leg. Roberts thows a huge punch but Benn dodges it nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Roberts controlling the action here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roberts looking to score a takedown here. Benn is defending well but Roberts drives through and ends up in Benn's guard. Roberts postures up.
Roberts drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Benn manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Roberts has Benn in his guard. Benn trying to control but Roberts is working from the bottom. Roberts is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roberts can't keep his opponent in guard - Benn advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Roberts moves into full guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Roberts holds on and takes a little breather.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ray Benn. Roberts pushes Benn up against the cage in a clinch. Benn wants to break free but Roberts has control.
Benn trying to control the position but instead, Roberts has worked for underhooks and has pushed Benn into the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roberts pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A combination from Benn does no damage. Roberts misses with a low kick.
Roberts shoots in and bounces Benn off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Roberts must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Roberts controlling from the top position. Benn keeping moving, preventing Roberts from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Benn is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Roberts trying to control but Benn is working from the bottom.
Jeff Roberts has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Roberts dodges the punch combination from Benn.
Benn cracks Roberts with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeff Roberts showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

and Roberts moves into the clinch. Roberts will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Benn up against the cage. Roberts tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Benn avoids it. Roberts has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Benn uses from the top position. Roberts takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bennis looking to pass into half guard but Roberts pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Roberts is in guard. Jeff Roberts has got the better of the ground game so far.

Benn is pulling down on Roberts's head. It's preventing any offense from Roberts, at least for the moment. Benn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Roberts is one step ahead there. Benn has his feet on Roberts's thighs here. He's pushed Roberts off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Roberts screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
