Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Baramari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tim Lachance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baramari comes to the cage accompanied by WOODKID - Iron. Bob Baramari has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Baramari!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Lachance!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lachance shoots in for a takedown but Baramari shows good takedown defense.

Baramari is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Baramari sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Baramari has hold of Lachance's hands but Lachance slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Lachance seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Baramari does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Lachance seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Lachance is trying to control. Baramari wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Lachance has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Lachance tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Baramari manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Baramari tries to work over Lachance's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Horrible takedown by Lachance or perhaps it was just good defense by Baramari which made him look bad.

Baramari throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lachance.
Lachance has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Baramari.

Baramari feints and then cracks Lachance's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lachance down.

Lachance tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Baramari was well out of range. Poor timing from Lachance.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Baramari rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lachance moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bob Baramari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Baramari throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Baramari scores with a head kick. Lachance tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Tim Lachance will probably get the nod.

Baramari is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lachance.

Lachance misses with a takedown attempt - Baramari sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

and Lachance holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Lachance.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Baramari lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lachance has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lachance and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Baramari throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lachance gets a takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lachance wants to control but Baramari is keeping him busy.

Baramari won't allow Lachance to pass to mount.
Lachance is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Baramari shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Lachance eats them both and turns towards Baramari to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.


That has opened up Tim Lachance's cut even more.

Lachance goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Lachance takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Lachance shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Lachance was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Baramari is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Baramari not landing any meaningful shots this time.

I think Lachance has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
