Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jin Sen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lorenzo Manta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sen comes into the arena with Let It Rock blaring out of the sound system. Jin Sen has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
27 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jin Sen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lorenzo Manta! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manta throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Manta goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Sen throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Sen on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Sen looks to throw the jab but Manta is out of range. Sen throws a sloppy head kick and Manta moves out of range easily. Sen slips under a jab from Manta. Manta on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Manta dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Manta bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Sen scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Manta tests Sen's chin there with a solid looking shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sen throws a sloppy head kick and Manta moves out of range easily. Manta goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Lorenzo Manta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Manta tries to land a front kick but Sen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
That's one minute gone in the round. Manta cracks Sen with a right hand to the side of the head. Manta throws the kick towards the body but Sen avoids it. Sen throws a nice outside leg kick. A bone on bone clash there as Manta blocks the leg kick.
Manta throws a sloppy head kick and Sen counters with a nice uppercut. Manta closes the distance and clinches up with Sen, looking for a takedown. Manta pushes Sen against the cage but Sen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A good leg kick by Sen. Manta throws a sloppy head kick and Sen counters with a flying knee. Nice. and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Sen moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Manta tries for a takedown but Sen circles away easily and Sen counters with a two punch combo. Manta looks gassed! Manta gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sen connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Manta stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sen. Manta steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Sen. That one must have hurt. Sen takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Sen throws out a loose jab but Manta uses good head movement to avoid it. Jin Sen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Manta misses with a straight right. Manta steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Sen. That one must have hurt. A combination from Manta does no damage. Manta just misses with a punch to the body.

Manta throws a left and a right that both miss
and Sen counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Manta takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Manta walks into a stiff left hand from Sen.
Manta is rocked! Sen on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Sen lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Sen tries a head kick but it misses.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Manta jabs Sen right on the nose. Sen blinks but takes it well. Sen with a nice cross. Sen misses with a leg kick and Manta counters with a right hand to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Manta throws a looping overhand right but Sen ducks down to avoid it. Sen with a nice cross. Sen lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Sen is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Sen scores with a push kick. Sen avoids the head kick by Manta.
A head kick misses from Sen. A low kick from Manta misses and Sen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Sen avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Manta shoots in looking for a takedown but Sen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Manta's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Jin Sen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lorenzo Manta. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sen scores with a jab. Manta looks to throw a body kick and Sen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Manta walks into a stiff left hand from Sen. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jin Sen dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Manta takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Sen tries to land a sweep but no joy. Manta throwing strikes from guard but Sen blocks nicely. Sen wants to stand and escape but Manta is having none of it. That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Manta missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Manta won't allow Sen to sweep him here. Manta lands a couple of decent looking shots. Sen has momentary wrist control but Manta slips an elbow through the middle. This has been an exciting period of action! Manta throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sen works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Manta throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Manta is one step ahead there. Sen is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Manta throws a half hearted mid kick. Sen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Manta walks forward, straight into a front kick from Sen. Manta takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Sen tests Manta's chin there with a solid looking shot. Jin Sen is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sen misses with a leg kick. Manta throws a head kick that misses. Manta attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sen.

Jin Sen is winning the standup battle so far. Manta tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Manta somewhat.

Manta takes one on the button. Manta throws a right hand that Sen ducks under and follows up with a left that Sen also avoids with ease. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Manta throws a good cross that connects.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Sen lunges at Manta with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Manta's hand. Sen lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Manta looks to score with a jab to the body but Sen is just out of range. Sen cracks Manta with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Sen connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Sen catches Manta with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Manta's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Sen tests Manta's chin there with a solid looking shot. Manta stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sen. Manta throws a lazy head kick and Sen counters with a right hand to the body. Manta throws a leg kick that is checked and Sen counters with an outside leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sen goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Manta misses the shot to the body. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sen throws a nice looking combination but Manta bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sen tries to work over Manta's front leg with a kick but Manta checks it. Manta bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Sen avoids a kick to the body.
Sen is looking to slow Manta down with leg kicks. Manta is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sen. Manta has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Sen lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Manta misses the shot to the body. Sen throws a hook to the side of Manta's head but Manta sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Manta looks to score with a jab to the body but Sen is just out of range.
And that's the end of the fight! Jin Sen showed his dominance in that final round. I think Sen has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
