PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cassit Heiluu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salocin Zerep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heiluu comes into the arena with Kerrankin Tarpeekseen blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zerep swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Heiluu counters with a right hand to the body.

Zerep tries to sprawl but Heiluu drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Zerep is not content to let Heiluu control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zerep won't allow Heiluu to pass to mount.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Salocin Zerep showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Heiluu throws the left hand but Zerep avoids the punch easily.

Heiluu manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Zerep on his heels. He'll look to pass Zerep's guard now, I'm sure.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Zerep looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Heiluu! Submission of the night perhaps?
