Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luca Fruser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Landford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Fruser might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dre. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Luca Fruser! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Matt Landford! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fruser tries to clinch there but Landford circles away.
Landford moves to clinch but Fruser breaks away and Fruser holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Landford connects with a nasty looking knee right to Fruser's face.
Fruser has Landford pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Fruser pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Landford tumbling to the mat - Fruser dives into Landford's guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Fruser trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Landford is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fruser is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

We're going to have a standup here because Luca Fruser wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Fruser tries to close the distance and clinch but Landford swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Fruser keeps the fight on the outside. Landford stuffs the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Landford tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Fruser manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A left and a right from Landford both land. Nice combination. Landford tries to clinch but Fruser is having none of it. Fruser swats away the attempt to clinch by Landford. Fruser keeps the fight on the outside. Fruser has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Landford checks a low kick. Landford is looking to stand up but Fruser isn't so interested in that idea. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fruser pushes down on Landford's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Fruser swats away the attempt to clinch by Landford. Landford tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fruser paws at him with a jab and circles away. Landford looks gassed! Landford wants to clinch. Matt Landford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Landford closes the distance but Fruser moves to the side and Fruser counters with a nice double leg into side control. Landford won't be happy with that. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Landford prevents Fruser from moving into mount. Fruser happy to just control the position for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Luca Fruser dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Landford gets a clinch. Landford with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Fruser jumps guard but Landford stands there with Fruser around his waist. Fruser gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Fruser looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luca Fruser. That's going to take a lot out of him. Landford using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Fruser has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Landford has Fruser pressed against the cage, preventing Fruser from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Landford with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Fruser changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Landford fights it off and pushes away nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round. Fruser performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Fruser has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Luca Fruser has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Landford looks to clinch and Fruser counters with a nice double leg into side control. Landford won't be happy with that. Fruser wants to control but Landford is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fruser prevents Landford from escaping the position. Fruser controlling the position. Landford is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Fruser has just dragged him back down to the mat. Landford is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fruser tries to score with some ground and pound. Landford controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Fruser looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Landford seems a little lost for a moment, as Fruser dominates the positioning.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Luca Fruser. Fruser fails with a takedown attempt. Landford wants to clinch. Landford wants to clinch but Fruser slips to the side and Fruser counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Fruser lands an elbow just above Landford 's eye. Landford with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Fruser has picked Landford up - he's going for a ride! Fruser dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Fruser controlling the action here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fight stays on the outside here - Landford looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Landford tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fruser swats him away and circles back towards the center. Fruser closes the distance and clinches up with Landford, looking for a takedown. Fruser pushes Landford against the cage but Landford circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Fruser looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Fruser keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Landford's head. Fruser controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

And that's the end of the fight! Luca Fruser showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fruser, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
