Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Beerly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, take it like a man. Beerly has chosen Darude - Sandstorm as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jenkins gets tackled into the cage by Beerly. Beerly maintains the clinch.

Beerly breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jenkins dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jenkins digs a good hook to Beerly's body.
Beerly tries to move into range but Jenkins moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Beerly throws a head kick but Jenkins moves out of range.
Beerly uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jenkins.
Nice uppercut lands for Jenkins. That snapped Beerly's head back.
Jenkins looks to land a combination but Beerly avoids it well.

Beerly closes the distance and pushes Jenkins back into the cage.
Jenkins doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Jenkins jumps guard and drags Beerly to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Beerly must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jenkins is looking for a triangle but Beerly pushes his legs off easily.

Jenkins had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Beerly defends it easily.
Beerly won't allow Jenkins to sweep him here.

Beerly got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jenkins has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Beerly has managed to get both his arms back between Jenkins's legs - danger averted.

Jenkins is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Beerly is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jenkins's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jenkins's back!

I really don't envy Jenkins right now.
Jenkins tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Jenkins ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Beerly moves away.

Beerly tries a knee to the head but Jenkins blocks it.

A nice right hand lands inside from Jenkins.
Jenkins lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Beerly manages to break the clinch.
Anderson Beerly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Beerly shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Jenkins ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jenkins no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The referee warns Beerly that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Beerly wants to hold on but Jenkins pushes him away.
Jenkins connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Beerly is rocked!
Jenkins postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Beerly in real trouble here! The ref calls for Beerly to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
