Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Greg Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Diaz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Diaz jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Carter walks away with a smile on his face. Diaz gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Nick Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Carter fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Carter lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Diaz tries to work over Carter's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Carter throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Diazs head.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Diaz wants to break free but Carter has control.
Diaz tries to break free but Carter pushes him back against the cage.
Diaz tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Carter lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Come on Carter - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Diaz is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Greg Carter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Diaz.
Carter gets through Diaz's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A nice right hand lands inside from Carter.
