Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Christopher Eccleston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Kramer!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eccleston shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kramer but Kramer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Eccleston tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kramer swivels and escapes.
Kramer misses with a double jab.
Eccleston moves out of range of the strikes.
Eccleston looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kramer is fending him off so far but Eccleston persists. Nope, Kramer circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Christopher Eccleston. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Eccleston uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kramer.
Kramer lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Eccleston at a distance.
Kramer connects with a looping right hand.

Eccleston feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Eccleston throws an elbow that misses. Kramer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Eccleston's guard. Nice move by Kramer!
Kramer looking to sit in guard and control but Eccleston gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kramer not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Kramer is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Eccleston is controlling him.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Eccleston is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kramer is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Eccleston wants to pass the guard but Kramer is keeping the position.
Eccleston postures up in Kramer's guard and throws a big left but Kramer blocks it.
Kramer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Eccleston's guard.

Kramer throwing strikes but missing.
Kramer working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Kramer postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Eccleston holds on and takes a little breather.
Kramer is pushing down on Eccleston's leg trying to pass to half guard. Eccleston is fighting to maintain full guard but Kramer has managed to sneak the leg through.

Kramer is looking for a kimura here.
Eccleston keeps control of the position for the meantime.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Kramer dominated that round.

Eccleston shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Eccleston steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kramer.
Eccleston fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kramer manages to avoid it.
Kramer scores with a push kick.
Eccleston tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Kramer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kramer explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kramer throws a combination. Eccleston tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Kramer works Eccleston's body with a nice hook.
Kramer jabs at Eccleston's body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kramer fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Kramer digs a good hook to Eccleston's body.
Kramer throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kramer looks to land a combination. Eccleston sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.


It looks like Christopher Eccleston has been cut.
Eccleston walks straight into a right hand from Kramer - that's dropped him! Kramer jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Eccleston from any more punishment! Eccleston complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). John Kramer!
