Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnstone changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Granqvist tries to avoid it but Johnstone manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Granqvist to the ground. Granqvist escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Granqvist gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Granqvist misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Johnstone.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Granqvist.
It looks like Ray Johnstone has been cut.
Granqvist is looking to control Johnstone's arms but Johnstone gets an underhook and turns him. Now Granqvist has his back to the cage.
Johnstone pulls Granqvist into guard.

Johnstone is working an open guard so Granqvist takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Johnstone shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Johnstone was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Granqvist defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Johnstone.

Johnstone jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Granqvist is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Granqvist and Johnstone has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Johnstone avoids the strikes from the bottom by Granqvist.
Granqvist tries to buck Johnstone off but Johnstone is having none of it.
Johnstone has hold of Granqvist's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Granqvist tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Johnstone cranks the arm and Granqvist screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Granqvist, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Ray Johnstone!
An out of breath Ray Johnstone thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
