Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Balboa 's entrance music is Gonna Fly Now. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rocky Balboa ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Peter Parker! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Balboa .
Parker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Balboa swivels and escapes. Parker tries to clinch there but Balboa circles away.
Balboa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Parker fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Balboa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Balboa closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Parker to the mat! Parker manages to get full guard. Balboa will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Parker keeping moving, preventing Balboa from controlling successfully. Parker is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Parker has his foot on Balboa 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Balboa works his way back into a safe position though. Balboa trying to control the position from guard on top but Parker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Parker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Balboa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Balboa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Parker is looking for a triangle but Balboa pushes his legs off easily.
Parker looks gassed! Balboa wants to control from the top but Parker keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Balboa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Balboa trying to control but Parker is working from the bottom. Parker being controlled here, momentarily. Balboa seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Parker for as long as he can get away with. Balboa has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Parker is proving hard to escape from. Parker keeping moving, preventing Balboa from controlling successfully. Balboa has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Parker looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Balboa looking to pass the guard. Balboa wants to stand but Parker has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Parker trying to control the position.
Balboa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Parker swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Parker closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Parker seems to be looking for submissions.
Balboa wants to control but Parker is keeping busy.
Parker decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parker doesn't manage to clinch there - Balboa circles away.
Parker with a poor takedown and Balboa counters with a single leg into guard. Parker didn't expect that. Rocky Balboa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Parker. Parker bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Balboa 's guard. Parker looking to pass the guard. Balboa has Parker pulled in close to control his posture. Balboa wants to sweep but no luck. Balboa pulls Parker in close to prevent any damage. Balboa tries to land a sweep but no joy. Parker tries to free his leg and advance position but Balboa is retaining full guard. Parker stands and throws Balboa 's legs to the side, diving into side control. Balboa sneaks back into half guard. Parker is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Balboa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Parker prevents Balboa from standing back up.
Parker looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Parker is thwarting Balboa 's attempts to control the position. Balboa moves into full guard.
Parker trying to control the position from guard on top but Balboa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Balboa looking to hit a scissor sweep but Parker is one step ahead there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Peter Parker will probably get the nod. That's time! Balboa 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Parker lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Balboa scores with a spinning back kick! Parker tries to clinch but fails miserably and Balboa counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Parker is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Balboa pulls his head out easily. Parker has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Balboa is working away from the top position though. Balboa wants to lay and pray for a moment but Parker keeps working. Parker moves into full guard.

Balboa throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Parker gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Balboa counters with a nice double leg into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Balboa controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Parker trying to keep a closed guard but Balboa is proving a slippery customer.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Parker tries for a takedown but Balboa circles away easily and Balboa counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Parker! Balboa breaks from Parker's wrist control and lands an elbow. Balboa can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Parker is looking to escape. Parker is in all sorts of trouble here.
Parker regains half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Parker tries to roll over but Balboa keeps him under control. Parker tries to kick Balboa off but Balboa keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Parker is pressing down on Balboa 's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Parker looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Balboa is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Balboa slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Parker lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Balboa ! Parker wants to finish this one by submission but Balboa is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Parker. Rocky Balboa overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Parker is standing up, even though he is in mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Balboa closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Parker to the mat! Parker manages to get full guard. Balboa drops back looking for a leg! Parker is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Parker manages to kick Balboa off! Balboa jumps back into Parker's guard. Balboa tries to free his leg and advance position but Parker is retaining full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rocky Balboa dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Parker is not content to let Balboa control the position. Balboa seems to be working for a kimura but Parker defends the submission attempt. Parker is pressing down on Balboa 's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Balboa stops Parker from standing up. Balboa sitting in guard, not really doing much. Parker had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Balboa is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Parker Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Balboa 's back instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Balboa is defending well though. Parker let's go of the attempt for now. Parker is looking for the choke from the back position but Balboa is controlling his hands well. Balboa trying to control the hands but Parker breaks the grip. Parker is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Balboa with him. Balboa is trying to defend but Parker has an arm under the chin now! Balboa grimaces and is forced to tap out!
