Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Zuko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jas Brzydota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danny Zuko looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Danny Zuko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jas Brzydota! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Kavanagh and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brzydota has his takedown stuffed and Zuko counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Brzydota gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Zuko counter with a right hand. Brzydota with a poor takedown letting Zuko counter with a right hand. Danny Zuko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jas Brzydota. Brzydota shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Zuko counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Zuko looks to land a right hand but Brzydota moved out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brzydota with a lazy takedown attempt and Zuko counters with a straight right hand. Brzydota gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Zuko connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Brzydota wants to clinch. Brzydota misses with a double jab
and Zuko counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Brzydota wants to sweep here but Zuko controlling him for the moment. Brzydota is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zuko wants to stand but Brzydota has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Brzydota had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Zuko defends it easily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Zuko wants to stand and escape but instead Brzydota has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Brzydota wants to pass the guard but Zuko is keeping the position. Zuko is breathing heavily. Brzydota engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
We're going to have a standup here because Danny Zuko wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Brzydota with a poor takedown and Zuko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Brzydota fails with the takedown and Brzydota takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Brzydota with a lazy takedown attempt and Zuko counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Zuko scores with a sloppy right hand. Brzydota should have avoided that one.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Brzydota misses with a takedown and Zuko counters with a straight right hand. Excellent takedown into side control there by Zuko. I wouldn't like to be where Brzydota is right now. Brzydota is trying to get back to half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brzydota sneaks back into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jas Brzydota will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Brzydota steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zuko. Brzydota closes the distance looking to clinch and Zuko counters with a nice uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brzydota misses with a takedown attempt and Zuko counters with a thumping low kick. Brzydota shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Zuko counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zuko being controlled here momentarily. Brzydota not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Brzydota is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Zuko has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Brzydota is proving hard to escape from. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brzydota has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Zuko should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Brzydota has tightened it up now! Zuko should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
