Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jules Avalon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Hulk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Avalon comes to the cage accompanied by Superman - Super Junior. Hulk has chosen Hulkamania! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jules Avalon could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to The Hulk's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hulk gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Avalon counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Hulk tries to roll over but Avalon keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hulk moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Avalon is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Avalon trying to control the position from guard on top but Hulk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Avalon trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Avalon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Avalon postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Hulk looking for a sweep. Not yet Hulk, not yet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hulk is looking for a triangle but Avalon pushes his legs off easily.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Avalon's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Hulk avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Avalon throws a strike but Hulk rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Hulk throws a big elbow that misses.
Hulk trying to control the position from guard on top but Avalon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Avalon wants to stand and escape but Hulk is having none of it.
Hulk passes Avalon's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Hulk is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Avalon is just riding it out for now. Hulk eventually gives up the hold.
Avalon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Avalon tries to get out of the position.

Avalon is positioning himself well to prevent Hulk advancing to mount.
Hulk is trying to control. Avalon wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Hulk tries to pass the half guard into mount. Avalon knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Hulk is looking for a kimura but Avalon is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hulk to get the leverage.
Avalon is refusing to be controlled, as Hulk sits in half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Avalon is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hulk is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hulk is pressing down on Avalon's thigh, looking to free his foot. Avalon is holding on for now.
Avalon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hulk not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Hulk is trying to work for a kimura but Avalon is defending well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Avalon is looking to improve his position.
Hulk wants to lay and pray for a moment but Avalon keeps working.

Hulk is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Avalon still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Avalon has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Avalon scores with a couple of short elbows.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but The Hulk will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Hulk shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Avalon but Avalon pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hulk is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Avalon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hulk's guard.

Avalon is posturing up here but Hulk has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Avalon tries to roll out but it's too tight and Avalon has to tap! Slick submission there by Hulk!
