Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeeves Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasha Lebedev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a head kick that Lebedev semi-blocks.
A nice inside leg kick there by Smith. That's going to slow Lebedev down.
Smith lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A nice leg kick lands there from Smith.
Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Smith - that will leave a mark!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Smith.
Smith tries to clinch there but Lebedev circles away.
Lebedev checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Smith throws a sloppy head kick and Lebedev moves out of range easily.

Smith throws a leg kick but Lebedev sees it coming and moves out of range.

Smith tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Lebedev keeping full guard, as Smith tries to pass.
Lebedev wants to sweep but no luck.
Lebedev looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Smith controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Lebedev escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Smith gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Smith stands and throws Lebedev's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Lebedev tries to bench press Smith off him but Smith keeps the position.
Smith tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Smith has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Smith wants to control but Lebedev is keeping him busy.
Lebedev regains half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeeves Smith dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Smith looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Lebedev!
Smith takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Smith prevents Lebedev from getting the reversal.
Smith avoids the attempt from Lebedev to control.
Lebedev can't escape the position.
Smith controlling his opponent.
Lebedev regains half guard.

Lebedev wants to improve his position but Smith is controlling well.
Smith is trying to control the action in half guard but Lebedev is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Lebedev is trying to control but Smith passes into side control!
Smith is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Lebedev looks to move to half guard but instead Smith has passed into mount! Damn!
Lebedev is breathing heavily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Smith content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Smith seems to be looking for submissions.
Lebedev actively working from the bottom here.
Smith works his foot free and advances to mount.
Lebedev sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Smith is working for a kimura but Lebedev is defending it quite comfortably.

Jeeves Smith dominated that second round.
That's time! Smith's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Lebedev fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Smith is out of range.
Smith goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
A head kick misses from Smith.
Smith misses with a series of wild punches.
Smith throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith has Lebedev up against the cage in a clinch.
Lebedev pulls guard effortlessly.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lebedev keeping moving, preventing Smith from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lebedev is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Lebedev perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Smith moves into full guard.
Lebedev tries to free his leg and advance position but Smith is retaining full guard.
Lebedev takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Smith looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lebedev stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Smith throws up his legs and catches Lebedev in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Lebedev tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Smith! That came out of nowhere!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Jeeves Smith!
