Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Van Chooke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Pyron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooke comes to the cage accompanied by Demigodz - Empire Strikes Back. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pyron clinches up with Chooke and pushes him back against the cage.

Pyron breaks from the clinch.

Pyron shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Pyron showed some decent athleticism there.
Pyron is keen to just control but Chooke is a slippery customer.
Chooke slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Chooke working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pyron doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pyron manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Pyron really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chooke. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Chooke has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Pyron should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Chooke has tightened it up now! Pyron should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Van Chooke thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
