Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raish Duns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thizin Pereira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duns comes to the cage accompanied by Batman Entrance. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thizin Pereira! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duns tries to close the distance and clinch but Pereira swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Duns could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Duns gets a clinch. Duns has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Pereira regains guard immediately. Duns trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Pereira is trying to control the position but Duns postures up. Duns wanted to stand there but Pereira had control of the position. Pereira had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Duns defends it easily. Pereira looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Duns has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Duns kicks Pereira off and gets back to his feet. Duns clinches. Duns landing some nice looking knees to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duns lands an elbow just above Pereira 's eye. Duns lands a shot to the body. Duns stops a takedown attempt from Pereira.
Raish Duns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thizin Pereira. Duns scores a nice knee to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Pereira has his foot on Duns's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Duns works his way back into a safe position though. Duns stays in close to Pereira's body and controls the position. Pereira trying to keep a closed guard but Duns is proving a slippery customer.
Pereira is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Duns defends well. Duns has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pereira is proving hard to escape from.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Duns stands up and waves to Pereira to follow him. Pereira shoots in for a takedown but Duns shows good takedown defense. Duns moves into the clinch successfully.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Duns lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Duns gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Pereira.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Thizin Pereira. I think Pereira has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
