The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksandr Martynov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piotrow shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Barboza won't allow Piotrow to pass to mount.
Piotrow seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Barboza is trying to maintain the position but Piotrow is very close to passing his half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Piotrow seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Barboza does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
