Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Bastard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Deere (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Deere has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Big Bastard's chin.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deere looking to score a takedown here. Bastard is defending well but Deere drives through and ends up in Bastard's guard.
Deere is looking to advance position but Bastard has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Bastard will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Deere slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Deere looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Bastard scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Bastard thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Deere is staying active underneath Bastard, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Bastard is looking to work some ground and pound but Deere has wrist control.

Bastard works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Bastard decides to stand up, so the ref orders Deere to his feet.
Deere shoots in for a double leg but Bastard sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bastard feints and as Deere raises his hands in defense, Bastard changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Deere isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bastard stacks Deere on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bastard!
You can see the frustration on Deere's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Bastard decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Bastard throws a head kick but Deere moves out of range.
Deere needs to keep his hands up - Bastard had a free shot at his head there.

Deere throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bastard's waist but Bastard gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Deere off to one side.

Bastard wants to break free but Deere has control.
A frustrated look appears on Bastard's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Bastard lands with a thumping leg kick.

Bastard swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Deere shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Bastard throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Deere lands with a right hand.

Big Bastard overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bastard connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Deere some visible discomfort.

Bastard is looking to take a break and control but Deere is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Deere manages to get back to half guard.
Bastard controlling the pace.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Big Bastard wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Bastard buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Bastard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Bastard rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Deere moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Bastard clinches.
Bastard breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Some wild striking there from Deere.
Bastard wants to clinch up but Deere keeps it at a distance.
Deere shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bastard defends it nicely.
Big Bastard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Deere.
Bastard fails to land with a series of punches.
Deere shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bastard's guard.
Deere is breathing heavily.
Deere prevents Bastard from getting back to his feet.
Deere wants to pass the guard but Bastard is keeping the position.

Deere stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bastard swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bastard wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Deere manages to pass to side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Deere is trying to control. Bastard wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Bastard is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Deere is just riding it out for now. Bastard eventually gives up the hold.

Deere takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Deere is bucking up trying to escape but Bastard cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Deere in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bastard tries to control but Deere wriggling away.
Bastard has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Deere's face.
Bastard unloading with bombs!
Bastard postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Deere badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Bastard around the waist but Bastard pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Bastard is the winner by TKO! Bastard jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:02 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Big Bastard!
After winning the bout, Big Bastard thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
