Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Huge! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lebron James! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Huge misses with a jab, cross combination.
Huge avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
James connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. James fails with a takedown attempt. Matt Huge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. James has closed the distance and engaged Huge in a clinch.
Huge has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. James avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Huge drops to a knee looking for a takedown but James gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Huge seems keen to control James's posture. Huge bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in James's guard. Huge might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Huge's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Huge throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as James works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Huge seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Huge controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Huge is trying to work for a kimura but James is defending well.
Huge slows the pace down in half guard. Huge takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. James avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Huge. Huge takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Huge is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Huge is breathing heavily. Huge is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Huge in particular looking to stall. Huge trying to mount his opponent but James defends it. James trying to control from the bottom.
Huge seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but James does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Huge thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Huge wants to free his trapped foot but James is holding on for dear life with his legs. Huge is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Huge feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Huge drops back looking for a leg! James is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and James manages to kick Huge off! Huge jumps back into James's guard. Huge is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Huge with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Huge scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Huge working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of James's head. Huge slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Huge dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Huge working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Huge scores with a couple of good head shots there.

James tries to lock up and control but Huge gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Huge scoring with strikes but James is staying in there. James is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. James trying desperately to get to his feet.
Huge wants to control the pace but James is squirming around nicely. James wants to control but Huge is having none of it.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Huge dominating with strikes here. Huge landing strikes from the mount and James is in trouble! Huge controlling from the full mount. James taking shots to the head. The referee warns James that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Huge is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. James can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Huge has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! James is forced to tap!
