Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Rolston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Capwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Capwell has chosen The Haunted - 99 as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Rolston! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mason Capwell! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Capwell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rolston was well out of range. Poor timing from Capwell. The fight stays on the outside here - Capwell looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A head kick misses from Rolston. Rolston tries to bum rush Capwell with a series of wild strikes but Capwell uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Capwell dives in and grabs Rolston's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rolston pushes down on Capwell's head and hops out. A shot to the liver by Capwell. Beautiful body shot. Capwell scores with a nice head shot. Capwell moves into the clinch. Capwell wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Rolston prevents Capwell from breaking the clinch. Rolston wants to break the clinch but can't.
Come on Rolston - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Capwell is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rolston pulls him back up using the underhooks. Rolston tries to break free but Capwell pushes him back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Capwell looking for a takedown. James Rolston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mason Capwell. Capwell lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Rolston gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Capwell.
Rolston with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Capwell keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Rolston's efforts to push away. Rolston can't break the clinch.
Rolston pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Capwell connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Rolston keeps the fight on the outside. Rolston staying out of range there. Capwell avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Capwell fails to land the takedown. Capwell steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rolston. Capwell lands a jab to Rolston's midsection. Capwell showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rolston.
Capwell clinches. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rolston lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Rolston misses with a knee strike.

Rolston throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rolston throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Capwell missing with a left hand there. Rolston was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Capwell ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Rolston scoring well with a low kick there.

Capwell fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Rolston to the ground. Capwell is now in Rolston's guard. Rolston will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Capwell loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Capwell is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Capwell lands a couple of decent looking shots. Capwell throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Rolston is trying to control the position but Capwell postures up.

Capwell is looking to work some ground and pound but Rolston has wrist control. Capwell trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Capwell chips away with some ground and pound. Capwell wants to control from the top but Rolston keeps moving. Capwell keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rolston's head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rolston keeping moving, preventing Capwell from controlling successfully. Capwell manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rolston on his heels. He'll look to pass Rolston's guard now, I'm sure. Rolston is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Capwell is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Capwell missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Capwell trying to control the position from guard on top but Rolston is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Capwell throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rolston works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Rolston keeping full guard, as Capwell tries to pass. Capwell is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Rolston manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's one minute gone in the round. Rolston looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Capwell misses the shot to the body. Rolston tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Rolston lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Capwell at a distance.
James Rolston is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Capwell shoots for a takedown but Rolston saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Mason Capwell seems to be getting the better of the standup. Capwell wants to clinch but Rolston slips to the side and Rolston counters with a head kick. That will keep Capwell thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Capwell gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Capwell goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Capwell misses with a head shot. Capwell trying to control but Rolston is having none of it. Rolston keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Rolston tries to hold on but Capwell pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Capwell lands with some strikes. Rolston manages to regain half guard. Good work. Capwell wants to work for an arm triangle but Rolston is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Capwell seems to be working for a kimura but Rolston defends the submission attempt. Capwell looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Rolston with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Capwell sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Rolston defending well though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Capwell wants to work for an arm triangle but Rolston is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rolston defends it well. Capwell performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Rolston shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Rolston gets tackled into the cage by Capwell. Capwell maintains the clinch. Rolston throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Capwell throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Capwell tightens his grip and picks Rolston up, before dumping him to the ground. Rolston manages to land in guard. Rolston controls Capwell momentarily but Capwell frees himself. Capwell trying to control but Rolston is working from the bottom. The ref stands the fighters back up. Mason Capwell was stalling too much, according to the referee. Capwell throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rolston stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Capwell connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Capwell has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Capwell gets a clinch. Capwell displaying some good clinch control by pressing Rolston up against the cage. Rolston takes a shot to the head. Capwell takes an elbow to the forehead. Capwell changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Rolston fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Capwell scores with a takedown into Rolston's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Capwell is stalling in the full guard. Capwell has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Rolston wants to hit a switch here but Capwell passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Rolston there! Capwell sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Capwell throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rolston in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Rolston is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Capwell with a couple of short strikes. Rolston is bucking up trying to escape but Capwell cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Rolston is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Capwell connects with a bit shot that sees Rolston covering up! More strikes from Capwell and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Capwell is our winner by TKO!
