Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brutus Maximus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vanderley Sylva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Vanderley Sylva!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maximus lands a high kick!
Sylva slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Sylva waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Maximus.
Sylva tries to clinch up but Maximus circles away and keeps his distance.
Maximus throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Decent striking displayed by Maximus there.
Sylva is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sylva throws a hook but Maximus avoids it easily.
Sylva is still on wobbly legs! Can Maximus finish him?
Sylva ducks right into an uppercut from Maximus.
Sylva fails to land with a series of punches.
Maximus drops Sylva with a straight right hand, right on the button! Maximus follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brutus Maximus!
Brutus Maximus seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
