Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Weed Hopper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Zabuza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weed Hopper has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricky Zabuza!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Sam Margolis and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopper shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Zabuza counters with a stiff right hand.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Weed Hopper. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hopper looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Zabuza!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Hopper swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Zabuza is now in Hopper's guard. A big mistake from Hopper there, giving up the dominant position!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Hopper has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Zabuza can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hopper looking to hit a scissor sweep but Zabuza is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zabuza is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Hopper looking for a guillotine here but Zabuza defends easily.
Zabuza wanted to stand there but Hopper had control of the position.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Zabuza with a nice head shot there.
Hopper is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Zabuza defends well.
Hopper has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Zabuza doesn't defend quickly enough and Hopper has managed to lock this one up! Can Zabuza escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Hopper on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Weed Hopper!
