Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Can Pickled Eggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Poulain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Can Pickled Eggs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, David Poulain! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pickled Eggs closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. An elbow from Pickled Eggs crashes against the mat.
Pickled Eggs gets to mount! Poulain was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Pickled Eggs is in the full mount, landing strikes. Pickled Eggs with the ground and pound from mount. Poulain blocking the ground and pound. Poulain trying desperately to get to his feet.
Pickled Eggs landing punches. Poulain is desperately trying to improve his position but Pickled Eggs has a good base and remains in mount. Pickled Eggs tries to control but Poulain wriggling away. Poulain wants to control but Pickled Eggs is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Poor strikes thrown by Pickled Eggs there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Pickled Eggs sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Pickled Eggs tries to control but Poulain wriggling away. Poulain has given up his back here.
Poulain trying to get back to his feet but Pickled Eggs is in full control for now. Pickled Eggs is looking for the choke from the back position but Poulain is controlling his hands well. Pickled Eggs not allowing Poulain to control his hands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Pickled Eggs keeps control of the position as Poulain tries to break free.
Pickled Eggs controlling from the back. Poulain manages to get to his feet, escaping the difficult position. Pickled Eggs shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Poulain pinned against the cage. Poulain gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Pickled Eggs is breathing heavily. Pickled Eggs throws a hook but Poulain avoids it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pickled Eggs shoots in but no luck this time. Pickled Eggs fails with a takedown attempt from distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Can Pickled Eggs. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pickled Eggs fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Poulain cracks Pickled Eggs with a right hand to the side of the head. Poulain closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pickled Eggs to the mat! Pickled Eggs manages to get full guard. Pickled Eggs can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Poulain controls the pace. Poulain passes Pickled Eggs's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pickled Eggs trying to hold on to Poulain's head to control him but Poulain postures up.
Pickled Eggs looking for submissions off his back. Pickled Eggs is looking for a sweep. Poulain is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Pickled Eggs missing with punches from the bottom.
Pickled Eggs manages to get to full guard.
Poulain trying to control the position from guard on top but Pickled Eggs is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Can Pickled Eggs will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Poulain with a poor takedown and Pickled Eggs counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Poulain gets full guard. Pickled Eggs slips nicely into half guard. Pickled Eggs trying to control from half guard but Poulain is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pickled Eggs wants to free his trapped foot but Poulain is holding on for dear life with his legs. Poulain is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Poulain is breathing heavily. Poulain gets full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pickled Eggs wants to control from the top but Poulain keeps moving. Pickled Eggs working some strikes from top position. Pickled Eggs postures up.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Poulain throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Pickled Eggs counters with a shoot takedown. Poulain fights it but they end up in guard. Pickled Eggs trying to control the position from guard on top but Poulain is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Poulain is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Pickled Eggs is working Poulain over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pickled Eggs pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Poulain is keeping the position for now. Poulain keeping moving, preventing Pickled Eggs from controlling successfully. Poulain wants to get back to his feet but Pickled Eggs passes into half guard.
Poulain wants to control but Pickled Eggs is keeping busy.
Pickled Eggs is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Pickled Eggs tries to pass the half guard into mount. Poulain knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poulain wants to control but Pickled Eggs is keeping busy.
Pickled Eggs throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Pickled Eggs is keen to just control but Poulain is a slippery customer. Pickled Eggs is working for a kimura but Poulain is defending it quite comfortably.
Poulain throws some strikes from the bottom but Pickled Eggs isn't bothered - he's working on a kimura... it looks tight... it is! Poulain is tapping and screaming like a little girl! Ouch, that looks painful! Good win for Pickled Eggs!
