Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kavimadal Haq (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tanla Singh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Singh has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Tanla Singh is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kavimadal Haq! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haq throws a head kick but Singh moves out of range.
Kavimadal Haq seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Haq fails with a takedown attempt. Singh throws a sloppy head kick and Haq moves out of range easily. Singh swinging wildly here.
Singh throws a leg kick that is checked and Haq counters with a good, hard body kick but Singh shrugs it off. Haq misses with a takedown attempt and Singh counters with a big head kick but Haq shrugs it off. Haq is breathing heavily. Haq misses with a takedown attempt - Singh sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kavimadal Haq. That's going to take a lot out of him. Haq is looking to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Haq shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Singh counters with a slapping leg kick. Singh clobbers Haq with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Haq throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Haq darts in trying to clinch and Singh makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Singh throws a low kick but it's checked well by Haq. Singh avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Singh dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Haq. That did some damage! Singh lands with a kick to the temple. Haq shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Both fighters circling a little - Singh finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Singh misses with a head kick.
Haq misses with a jab, cross combination.
Singh plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Singh stuffs the takedown. Haq fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Haq shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Singh defends it nicely. Haq lands with a kick to the temple. Singh shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Singh circles away from the clinch attempt and Singh counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Singh stuffs the takedown. Haq gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Singh counters with a straight right hand. Haq tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Singh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Haq shoots in looking for a takedown. Singh tries to sprawl out of it but Haq keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Singh manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Sloppy strikes from Haq. Those never looked like landing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tanla Singh dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Singh throws a low kick but it's checked well by Haq. Singh throws a chopping leg kick but Haq manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Haq shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Singh counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Singh lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Haq circles away quickly and effectively. Singh swats away the attempt to clinch by Haq. Haq shoots in for a takedown but Singh shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Haq doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Singh lands a right hook to the body.
Haq throws a sloppy head kick and Singh moves out of range easily. A slapping leg kick lands for Singh.

Singh tries a head kick but it misses.
Haq shoots in for a takedown but Singh shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kavimadal Haq. That's going to take a lot out of him. Haq closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Haq tries to score a body lock takedown but Singh shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Haq with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Singh is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Haq has Singh pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Singh manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Haq wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Singh has him pressed against the cage. Singh's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Haq throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Singh counters with an inside leg kick. Haq shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Singh gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Haq to score an easy takedown into full guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Haq trying to control the position from guard on top but Singh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kavimadal Haq. Singh misses with a head kick.
Tanla Singh seems to be getting the better of the standup. Singh takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Haq.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Haq is looking to clinch. Singh on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Haq tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Singh swivels and escapes. Haq is trying hard to land a takedown here. Singh sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Singh goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Singh fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Haq is out of range. Haq looks to clinch and Singh counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Haq is lucky that one didn't land flush. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Kavimadal Haq will probably get the nod. That's time! Haq's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Singh throws a leg kick but Haq moved away. Singh turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Haq has his takedown stuffed letting Singh counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kavimadal Haq. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Singh throws the kick towards the body but Haq avoids it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Singh throws a solid leg kick but Haq takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Singh. A slapping leg kick lands for Singh.
Singh slaps away a takedown attempt from Haq, before circling back to the center of the mat. Haq fails to land the takedown. Haq has a takedown stuffed.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Haq shoots in looking for a takedown. Singh tries to sprawl out of it but Haq keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Singh manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Haq throws a hook to the side of Singh's head but Singh sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Haq keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Singh pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Haq closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Singh's guard. Singh keeping moving, preventing Haq from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Haq stops Singh from standing up. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Haq trying to control but Singh is working from the bottom.
We're going to have a standup here because Kavimadal Haq wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Haq shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Singh as he jumps to the side. Haq tries to clinch but fails miserably and Singh counters with a head kick. Haq tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Singh has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Haq. Nice sprawl there from Singh as Haq shoots in. Haq fails to land the takedown. Haq throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice takedown defense from Singh. No joy for Haq on that attempt. Haq shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Singh as he avoids it easily. Singh is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Haq tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Singh counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Kavimadal Haq. I think Haq has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
