Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chazz Gecko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Money (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gecko comes to the cage accompanied by Bon Jovi: Livin' On A Prayer. Money has chosen Triumph by Wu Tang Clan as his entrance music. Trey Money acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gecko lands a lovely overhand right.
Money changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gecko tries to avoid it but Money manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gecko to the ground. Gecko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Money takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Money misses with a takedown
and Gecko counters with a right hand to the body.
Gecko cracks Money with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Money takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Gecko clinches up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gecko lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Money pulls guard successfully.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Gecko controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Money looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gecko won't allow Money to sweep him here.

Money lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gecko!
Money avoids the attempt from Gecko to control.
Money prevents Gecko from getting the reversal.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Money has hold of Gecko's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gecko manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Money is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Gecko is surviving well by controlling Money's body position as best he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gecko is desperately trying to improve his position but Money has a good base and remains in mount.
Money looking to control but Gecko is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Money lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Money is looking to stand but Money has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Gecko holds on, trying desperately to control.
Gecko wants to hold on but Money pushes him away.
Money is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Gecko to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Gecko shrugs it off.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Money moves to back control.
Gecko is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Gecko is trying to escape under a series of strikes and manages to escape from Money 's hooks.

Gecko is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Money misses with a head shot.
Gecko gets back to half guard.
Gecko has one foot on Money's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Money shoots for a takedown but Gecko saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Chazz Gecko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trey Money.
Gecko cracks Money with a right hand to the side of the head.
Chazz Gecko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gecko connects with a good right hand that stumbles Money. Money circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Money tries to pull guard but Gecko holds him up against the cage and eventually Money drops back down to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Money jumps guard but Gecko stands there with Money around his waist. Money gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Gecko breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Money has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Gecko.

Money has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Money there as he acknowledges the shot.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Money fails to pull guard.
A left hand lands to the body for Gecko.
Money tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gecko just stands there and leans against the cage.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Gecko makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Money throws a nice looking combination but Gecko bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gecko jabs Money right on the nose. Money blinks but takes it well.
It looks like Trey Money has been cut.

That kick from Gecko tenderised Money's leg. Money is trying to keep his angry face on.

Gecko scores with a sloppy right hand. Money should have avoided that one.
Gecko connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Money's hands.

Trey Money's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Money misses with a series of wild punches.

Money closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Gecko catches Money with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Trey Money's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
